The new Nitro Type Spring Showdown event has officially started! This is a major change from the old Seasons format to the better OG event format. In case you haven't heard much about events this one is running from May 11th to June 1st, this event is all about keeping racers engaged, with achievements unlocking gradually over the coming weeks you’ll want to check in often to discover new challenges and prizes.

To join, just head to the Spring Showdown event page, equip a Spring car (or buy one if you don’t have it yet), and start racing. Every race with a Spring car helps you unlock achievements, and the more Spring-themed loot you equip, the bigger your XP bonus per race. There’s also a brand-new, event-only Perk that levels up as you race, transforming your car’s look in ways Nitro Type hasn’t done before.

I'm super excited to see what the upcoming achievements will be and how events will pan out over the course of the rest of this year! Let’s make this Spring Showdown our best, most accurate event yet!

• Date: May 14th, 2025 to  May 21st, 2025
The timezone for the tracker is set to MDT so it'll run from Midnight to Midnight through those dates. 

• Duration: 6 days

• Required races for prizes: 100

Prizes:

• 🥇 1st Place Speed: 10m NTC

• 🥈 2nd Place Speed: 7m NTC

• 🥉 3rd Place Speed: 5m NTC

• 🥇 1st Place Accuracy: 17m NTC

• 🥈 2nd Place Accuracy: 13m NTC

• 🥉 3rd Place Accuracy: 8m NTC

• 🥇 1st Place Races: 17m NTC

• 🥈 2nd Place Races: 15m NTC

• 🥉 3rd Place Races: 10m NTC

• 6th - Last place RACES: 200k per qualifying racer

Rewards are stackable

How to Participate:

• 🏎️ Race as much as you can during the event.

• ⏰ Competition based on EDT.

Rules:

• 📝 Complete at least 100 races to qualify.

• 🏆 Top Five based on each category win.

• No Botting, if you bot, you will be disqualified from any and all prizes won as well as immediate removal from the team.

Claiming Prizes:

• 💰 Prizes will be sent by a payout manager (me or an officer).
